Free Gimp Plugins

With the help of some free Gimp plugins (Planet Render and Star Scape) I have made the image below. While it might not be as good as the plugins from Flaming Pear, it is still cool that You can make some nice images using free software. 8-)

If I would have tried a bit harder, I might have been able to do something that would have looked a bit better. The image below is just to show You what is possible. (The image has also been compressed to a jpeg image so that it will load faster. This compression have added some distortion as well…)

    I have had GIMP downloaded for some time now but have left it on the back burner since so many told me that it was this or that - none of it good. But that looks pretty good to me for not trying harder.

    Guess I have a new program and some plugins to get installed.

    Thanks for the example, as they say, the proof is in the pudding.

    Just to try something else I made another image using gimp. But since that image had nothing to do with traveller, I posted it on another blog.
